By Integrating Knowbe4’s end-user-reporting capabilities with Mimecast, malicious senders can be added to a Mimecast Blocked Senders list or profile groups. This helps reduce the work needed for security administrators to manually act against phishing attacks. How does Knowbe4 Integration Work? 

The KnowBe4 platform uses a “Phish Alert Button” for end-user email reporting. This phish alert button is added as plug-in to email platforms such as Microsoft Outlook so that end users can report malicious emails directly to your organization’s KnowBe4 console. However, there is typically no simple way to automatically send malicious emails from the KnowBe4 console to the Mimecast gateway. To achieve this now, without integrating the two, security administrators must manually copy each malicious email address from the KnowBe4 console to a Mimecast profile group. This is a redundant and time-consuming process that is completely avoidable with integration.
